Kimberly Wyatt spoke exclusively to GB News about her latest film project, Jackie The Stripper, in which she portrays a character called Daisy.

The former Pussycat Doll revealed that her character works as a barmaid at a strip club, which becomes central to the plot.

“The film’s sort of based on Jack the Ripper’s bloodline and where it lands in present day, and sort of what they need to do in order to sort of save the future of the world,” Wyatt explained.

She described how the venue transforms into a headquarters for a group of formidable women on a mission.

The production blends female empowerment themes with comedic elements, a balance Ms Wyatt found appealing from her first reading of the script.

Director Michael Head, with whom she previously collaborated on The Spin, brought the story to life.

The singer and actress credited her years performing with the Pussycat Dolls as invaluable preparation for the film’s physically demanding sequences.

“It takes a lot to be a Pussycat Doll, you have to be pretty hardcore and pretty badass,” she said, explaining how this experience helped her tackle the fight choreography.

The singer is currently touring alongside Pussycat Doll bandmates Nicole Scherzinger and Ashley Roberts as a trio, acknowledging that the group’s lineup has shifted over the years.

She described a renewed sense of unity among the members, noting they are all at similar stages in their lives as grown women who have pursued various projects.

“It’s the fans that have always showed up for us for a long time now, over 20 years,” Ms Wyatt reflected, expressing deep appreciation for their enduring support.

The performer spoke passionately about her commitment to nurturing emerging talent, running a dance academy that currently teaches more than 300 students.

Ms Wyatt expressed enthusiasm for exploring different creative avenues, from television and film roles to her music career.

“I just love to flex my muscles when I feel like I’m gonna grow and evolve as an actress or an artist,” she explained.
