Prince Harry received payment for appearing on the MasterClass streaming platform alongside neuroscientist Dr Mary-Frances O’Connor in a session focused on grief and mental health, GB News understands.

The conversation, titled Redefining Grief: Building Resilience Through Loss, was released on Thursday.

Annual membership of MasterClass costs between £120 and £228.

Although sources close to Harry have acknowledged the payment, the precise financial details will not be disclosed.

GETTY

An insider told the Press Association: “I’d encourage everyone to watch it before casting any judgement.”

During the deeply personal exchange, Harry disclosed that he relocated to Canada with Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and their infant son, Prince Archie, in 2020, seeking distance from the pressures of royal life.

He described falling into a depressive episode lasting roughly a fortnight upon arrival.

“I actually slipped into depression for about two weeks and I felt like I couldn’t function without adrenaline,” the Duke said.

REUTRS

Harry characterised the experience as an “adrenaline crash” that followed his departure from what he termed a “stressful environment.”

The candid admission offered a striking insight into the toll the period preceding the Megxit crisis took on his wellbeing.

Following their initial move, the Sussexes spent time on Vancouver Island before formally stepping back from their roles as working members of the Royal Family in early 2020.

LATEST ROYAL DEVELOPMENTS:

They subsequently settled in the United States, where they remained for six years.

However, in a notable reversal, Harry and Meghan relocated back to Britain last month, taking up residence in the UK once again.

The return marked a significant shift for the couple, who had built a new life across the Atlantic with various commercial ventures.
