A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a 75-year-old man found dead at a house in Bolton.
The pensioner was discovered by police at a property within Hargreaves House, on Crook Street, at about 08:00 BST on Friday.
A 49-year-old woman remains in custody for questioning, Greater Manchester Police said.
Formal identification of the victim has not taken place, but his next of kin have been informed, the force added.
Det Insp Louise Kelly appealed for information and said: “I would like to express my deepest condolences to the victim’s family and loved ones as they navigate through this loss.”
