Marks & Spencer is bringing the festive shopping experience directly to living rooms across the country with an exciting and informative week-long live shopping event on social media.

The high-street favourite has teamed up with some of the UK’s most-loved influencers to share expert tips, trend-led ideas, and insider inspiration spanning fashion, beauty, gifting, and hosting.

It’s essentially like having a party planner, personal shopper, and fashion stylist all at your fingertips – without needing to brave the December crowds.

Promising a truly “stress-free” shopping experience, M&S is allowing shoppers to pick up expert tips and tricks before deciding what to splash their cash on.

Indeed, the retailer described the initiative as “giving customers a front-row seat to the very best of Christmas at M&S”.

The five-day event, broadcast live from M&S’ in-house studios, promises curated edits and the chance to tick off your gift list from the comfort of your sofa.

Today’s schedule is packed with two live shows that shoppers won’t want to miss. TV presenter Vernon Kay and influencer Kris Donnelly are taking centre stage to reveal all the best menswear styles for the festive season.

M&S announced on social media this morning: “First up: @vernonkay and @krissydonners reveal all the need-to-know menswear styles. Then later, Vernon’s back for a bumper-packed show featuring must-haves everyone will love this festive season, plus your chance to win a £1,000 voucher.”

That’s right – viewers tuning in have the opportunity to bag themselves a rather generous gift card just in time for Christmas.

The double-header promises to cover everything from sharp party looks to those crowd-pleasing presents that’ll have everyone asking “how did you know?!”.

Shoppers can catch these segments at 2-2:30pm and 5-7pm today, both on Facebook.

Earlier this week, M&S fans were treated to Kit out the kids with Shanie Ryan and Georgia Jones, Beauty & home with Sarah Jossel and Katherine Ormerod, and Gifting & Hosting 101 with Laura Jackson. For those who missed them, these can all be accessed via the retailer’s Facebook page.

The event is clearly resonating with shoppers so far, with M&S marketing director Sharry Cramond saying: “M&S fans are obsessed, and our social channels are buzzing as customers turn to our experts and ambassadors for this season’s must-have buys.”

The retailer has designed the live shopping experience to work for everyone’s budget this Christmas.

With 40 per cent of shoppers planning to spend the same as last year, 20 per cent splashing out more, and another 20 per cent watching the pennies, M&S is offering handpicked deals that deliver “real value”.

Catching the action couldn’t be simpler – just head to the M&S Facebook or Instagram pages and the stream will pop up in your feed.

Calling the five-day extravaganza “the ultimate Christmas fix”, the retailer divulged that shoppers can expect exclusive gift card giveaways and the inside scoop on every holiday essential, just a click away.
