Meghan Markle has responded to her Netflix lifestyle programme securing its first Daytime Emmy nomination, taking to Instagram to share her excitement.
The recognition in the outstanding lifestyle programme category marks a significant moment in the Duchess of Sussex’s television career, her first Emmy nomination since she and Prince Harry stepped back from their roles as senior working royals.
Meghan wrote: “A huge congratulations to the amazing crew, producers, and team who worked on ‘With Love, Meghan’ on @netflix. We are nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Lifestyle Series!”
The programme faces stiff competition from four other contenders in the category: NBC’s George to the Rescue, Hallmark’s The Motherhood, The Wizard Of Paws and A Different Breed.
