Harriet Sperling could borrow a tiara from Princess Anne’s personal collection when she marries Peter Phillips this weekend, a jewellery expert has told GB News.

The NHS paediatric nurse is due to marry the Princess Royal’s son on Saturday at All Saints Church in Kemble, Gloucestershire, in a private ceremony expected to be attended by members of the Royal Family.

Ahead of the wedding, Anna Byers, Head of Bespoke Design at 77 Diamonds, predicted that Ms Sperling’s jewellery choices are likely to reflect the classic style she has displayed throughout her relationship with Mr Phillips.

Ms Byers told the People’s Channel: “With her timeless style, royal watchers will be eagerly anticipating Harriet Sperling’s wedding look.

“If her elegant engagement ring is any indication, her jewellery choices are likely to follow suit – classic and sophisticated with pearl and diamond accents.”

Speculation has already begun over whether Ms Sperling will follow royal bridal tradition by wearing a tiara for the ceremony.

Ms Byers suggested one possibility could be Princess Anne’s Aquamarine Pineflower Tiara, a piece closely associated with the Princess Royal.

She said: “She may even opt for a tiara moment, perhaps borrowing Princess Anne’s beloved Aquamarine Pineflower Tiara.

“With its striking aquamarine accents, it would offer the perfect ‘something blue’ for a summer bride, blending sentiment with style.”

The Aquamarine Pineflower Tiara was gifted to Princess Anne by the Queen Mother and has remained one of the Princess Royal’s most recognisable pieces of jewellery.

Anne has worn the tiara at several high-profile engagements over the years, including state banquets.

Ms Sperling’s engagement ring has also attracted attention since Mr Phillips proposed in 2025.

British jeweller Pragnell, a company with longstanding links to the Royal Family, created the three-stone diamond ring.

Recent reports have noted that the firm acquired Philip Antrobus, the jeweller behind Queen Elizabeth II’s engagement ring.

Mr Phillips and Ms Sperling announced their engagement in August last year after beginning their relationship in 2024.

The wedding marks the second marriage for both the bride and groom. Mr Phillips shares daughters Savannah and Isla with his former wife Autumn Kelly, while Ms Sperling has a daughter, Georgina, from her previous marriage.

The couple are expected to celebrate with family and friends following the ceremony, with a reception due to take place at Gatcombe Park, Princess Anne’s Gloucestershire estate.
