Doria Ragland, Meghan Markle’s mother, stepped out in a rare outing with her two grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, as well as Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex.
The seasonal family outing featuring the Duchess’s mother was captured in a recent social media post.
The 44-year-old Meghan posted footage on Instagram showing her children participating in autumn activities at a pumpkin patch, with 69-year-old Ms Ragland making an appearance.
The social worker was filmed creating her own pumpkin design whilst seated at a table, wearing casual knitwear and grey trousers.

Her brief appearance came at the conclusion of the video montage.
The Duchess accompanied her post with the message “Happy Sunday” along with seasonal emojis, including a pumpkin and orange heart symbol.
The footage captured six-year-old Prince Archie and four-year-old Princess Lilibet exploring a corn maze and taking wagon rides through the patch.
The children’s autumn adventures were documented in a compilation that concluded with the entire family engaged in pumpkin carving activities.

The video montage showcased various seasonal pursuits before transitioning to scenes of the family gathered around a table for their creative pumpkin decorating session.
Both young royals participated in traditional harvest festivities during their visit to the patch.
The social media post offered glimpses of the Sussex children enjoying outdoor activities typical of the autumn season in California.
The Duchess and her mother share a strong connection, with Ms Ragland residing in Los Angeles – just an hour and a half’s journey from the Sussexes’ Montecito estate.

The property includes a two-bedroom guest accommodation where relatives can stay during visits.
In September, the Duchess honoured her mother’s birthday through social media, sharing a boomerang clip featuring an affectionate moment between them decorated with pink heart symbols.
Their bond was notably evident during the 2018 royal wedding, when Ms Ragland accompanied her daughter in the vehicle to St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
The Duchess has frequently acknowledged her mother’s significant role in supporting their family unit.

Whilst maintaining a discreet presence during her daughter’s royal journey and subsequent marriage, Ms Ragland featured in the couple’s 2022 Netflix documentary and appeared in the first series of “With Love, Meghan” released this year.
She frequently assumes childcare responsibilities for her grandchildren when Harry and Meghan travel beyond California or internationally.
The grandmother travelled to Britain before Prince Archie’s birth in May 2019, when the couple lived at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.
Following their departure from senior royal duties in March 2020 and a temporary stay at Tyler Perry’s Beverly Hills residence, the Sussexes established their permanent home in Montecito.
