Pip Fallow, a local entrepreneur from County Durham, told GB News that communities feel “forgotten after decades of industrial decline”.

He said residents are ready to work but need Government support and investment to get local economies moving again.

Mr Fallow warned that “without action, apathy and frustration will continue to grow in towns that once powered the country’s wealth”.
