Derbyshire estate agency Sabel & Co has launched a 12-month charitable initiative to mark the anniversary of Belper Mills, the UNESCO-listed industrial site now moving towards redevelopment after years of planning.

Established in 2024 by Amanda Jarvis-Doyle, the business has positioned itself as a transparent, fixed-fee alternative within the local property sector.

Jarvis-Doyle’s extensive industry background led her to design a service that offers straightforward guidance for sellers who may be unfamiliar with the stages involved in a property transaction.

Under the scheme, £250 from each completed sale will be donated to a charity chosen by the client, connecting the company’s activity with community support during a landmark year for the town.

“This is my town, these are the people I love to help and being able to give something back and donate, in the 240th anniversary of Belper Mills seemed very fitting, and one we are delighted to do,” said Amanda Jarvis-Doyle.

The firm’s entry-level package, set at £997 plus VAT, covers the key elements required to bring a property to market and complete a sale, reducing the complications often associated with traditional agency models.

Amanda added: “Most people don’t sell properties frequently. They need help, they need to know how to navigate the estate agency world. With Sabel & Co, we offer varied packages that take away so much of the hassle and worry”.

As Belper prepares for a new phase of development, the agency’s fundraising effort reflects a broader commitment to local heritage and responsible business practice.

By combining property services with charitable giving, Sabel & Co aims to support residents while maintaining a clear and accessible approach to home sales.
