A person has died after a house caught fire in the early hours of Wednesday morning. South Wales Fire and Rescue Service was called to a house in Glenboi in Mountain Ash at about 01:40 GMT.Firefighters worked to control the fire, while South Wales Police officers closed nearby roads and evacuated residents from adjacent properties. A joint investigation is currently underway between South Wales Police and South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, with assistance from Rhondda Cynon Taff Council.The road in Glenboi remains closed for some time as investigations continue.
