Asda shoppers will be able to tick off more tasks when doing their weekly shop, as parcel lockers are set to open at branches across the UK.
Asda and InPost confirmed up to 700 parcel lockers will be placed across the supermarket giant’s UK store network.
The deal, one of InPost’s biggest retail tie-ups in the country to date, will allow customers to send, collect and return parcels during their regular food shop.
This means busy customers no longer need to wait at home for deliveries or make separate trips to do returns.

The lockers can be found across a range of Asda stores, spanning superstores, standard supermarkets and the retailer’s smaller Express branches.
Customers can pick up online orders, post packages, or process returns at whatever time fits their schedule.
This comes as part of Asda’s broader push to expand in-store services that simplify daily life for shoppers.
Director of Express, Fuel & Wholesale at Asda, Joseph Sutton, said: “Our unmatched mix of services is a key part of what sets Asda apart, and we know customers increasingly value the convenience of being able to tick off multiple tasks in a single trip.
“We’re delighted to be partnering with InPost to bring parcel lockers to up to 700 locations nationwide.
“This rollout gives customers a fast and flexible way to collect and return parcels, seamlessly fitting around their weekly shop and making everyday life a little easier.”
The new lockers will join InPost’s existing British network, which already sits at more than 16,000 units.

“Asda’s scale and nationwide footprint give us a significant opportunity to bring InPost Lockers closer to millions more people.
“Partnerships like this are helping change the way people think about parcel delivery and making lockers an increasingly established part of the UK delivery landscape.”
