The UK saw record car sales in May, with more than 160,000 new vehicles being driven out of forecourts as motorists choose from an ever-growing market of vehicles.

Fresh data shows that last month saw the highest number of sales in May since before the coronavirus pandemic, with healthy growth of 7.1 per cent year-on-year.


GB News has rounded up the 10 best-selling cars in the UK in May, according to the latest data from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).
