Stockport County defender Tyler Onyango has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a hamstring injury.
The 22-year-old Everton loanee suffered the injury in Tuesday’s 1-0 defeat at fellow League One promotion hopefuls Bradford City and will now have surgery.
Onyango, who was in his second temporary spell with the Hatters, was making his first league start since 26 December.
Dave Challinor’s side are fifth in the third tier, 12 points off second-placed Lincoln.
