Nearly 1.5 million were killed in action across theatres of war such as Europe, south-east Asia, the Middle East and North Africa.
Their sacrifice should not be overlooked; it must be remembered.
The recent history of Tower Hamlets Council does little to nothing for social cohesion in modern Britain, which provides a golden package of economic freedoms, social stability, political rights, legal protections and religious accommodation for its Muslim minorities that they would not enjoy in many other places on Earth.
The flagrant disrespect for British traditions and religio-political victimhood currently on show is something that all decent-hearted patriots, irrespective of race, ethnicity, and faith, should condemn.
