Tom Skinner has refused to rule out running for Parliament while he lambasted Labour for being full of “career politicians who don’t know how the real world works”.

The ex-Apprentice star spoke with GB News host Alex Armstrong when he made a cheeky flirtation with entering the world of politics.

Asked whether he believes Rachel Reeves should resign following the fall-out from the Budget, Mr Skinner joked: “I think they should give me the job.

“Let’s have it right, why have we not got the people who make this country great in power? Why have we not got the people that make this country great in power?

“Why are the people who run the businesses – why are they not the politicians?

“If you know how to run a business, if you know how to make money, if you know how to put food on the table, you should be making decisions that his country needs.

“You know, these people who are career politicians who don’t understand how the real world works. That’s my opinion, mate, and I stand by that.”

Alex then asked: “Have you ever thought about standing for for Parliament, Thomas? Because like you said, you know, we want average Joes.

“We want people who’ve worked in business to actually get out there and represent people.”

Laughing, Mr Skinner responded: “Oh my, mate listen, listen. Who knows what’s going to happen?

“Yeah I love, I love looking at politics and always thinking what I could do to make things better. I do that quite a bit.”

He recalled how he has been working since he was 15, working “all his life”.

Mr Farage said he would ‘happily’ talk to Mr Skinner

“I was up with four down this morning and I’m here today. Then I’m back down. We’re nonstop.

“And I just think people like myself would do a better job because I know what it’s like not to do it at the end of the month. And I know what it’s like when you when you are up front.

“I know both spectrums. And I just think more people with more understanding of the real world, like myself, should be in power, you know what I mean?”

The friend of JD Vance and Strcitly Come Dancing star has long been rumoured to be politically accosted by Reform UK and the Tories to join parliamentary ranks ahead of the next general election to form the “posh-bosh alliance”.

The ex-market trader shot to fame oa decade ago and has become known for his enthusiastic, family-oriented videos, often topped with a punchy “bosh” at the end.

Previously, a Conservative source believed that Mr Skinner could shred Labour’s vote among working people.

Additionally, Mr Skinner regularly speaks out about rising crime in London, as well as worries such as tool theft and its impact on local communities.

“Thomas is a hugely energetic guy,” Reform chief Nigel Farage told The i Paper. “I would happily talk to him.”

Tory-turned-Reform MP Danny Kruger similarly lauded: “He’s an impressive guy. I think what he’s saying has made a connection because he’s so optimistic and authentic.”
