A teenager was attacked after approaching a man who was urinating in the street.
A 14-year-old boy sustained life-changing injuries after the attack, West Yorkshire Police said.
The incident happened in Bradford on October 22, between 8.30am and 8.45am.
The young man approached an adult male who was urinating at the rear of Kensington Street, near the junction with Willow Street, in Bradford.
The teenager then challenged him about what he was doing, West Yorkshire Police added.
After this, the man, described as a “tall, fat, bald man with a beard”, attacked the boy.
He was rushed to emergency surgery in hospital after the incident.
He suffered serious facial injuries and will continue to receive care, police said.
Detectives are now appealing for witnesses.

DC Farrell continued: “We’d like to hear from anyone who lives in the area who may have CCTV footage or information that will help identify the person involved.”
