A man has been charged after cocaine worth an estimated £1.1m was found in a van.

Police stopped and searched a vehicle at Keele Services on the M6 in Staffordshire at about 13:00 GMT on Monday.

Andrew Moore, from Stockport, is accused of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug, said Staffordshire Police.

The 35-year-old was remanded in custody by magistrates on Tuesday to appear before Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Monday 22 December.
