Salford City assistant head coach Alex Bruce has been handed a one-match touchline ban.

Bruce accepted the charge of using abusive and insulting words and behaviour towards a match official after Salford’s 3-2 defeat at Cheltenham Town on 21 February.

In that game, Ammies captain Luke Garbutt was sent off and they twice led only to lose the game in injury time.

As well as the touchline ban, Bruce has also been fined £250.
