Robert Jenrick issued a hilarious “apology” to David Lammy last night for an AI-generated “clown” video which has gone viral.
The Shadow Justice Secretary joined Patrick Christys on GB News to discuss the ongoing public fury over prison releases.
Justice Secretary Mr Lammy admitted this week that 91 prisoners had been accidently released since April alone.
Mr Jenrick shared the video of Mr Lammy appearing to don a clown costume – captioned with a list of what he believed the Deputy PM had done wrong.
The top Tory has faced furious demands to delete the video, which he has refused.
And when Patrick offered him the chance to apologise, Mr Jenrick did – but not the way viewers might expect.
