Prince William would have no hesitation in letting it be known that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor should face a criminal probe if he were King, a royal expert has claimed.

Andrew has come under increased scrutiny to reveal what he knows in regard to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Royal commentator Tom Sykes has suggested that the Prince is adamant that Andrew should face a police inquiry given the latest release of the Epstein files.

Mr Sykes claims: “Friends of William have told me that he would have ‘no hesitation’ in letting it be known that Andrew should face a ‘probe’ police investigation if he were king.

“He genuinely believes the monarchy cannot remain popular and respected if it does not at least give the appearance of respecting the principle that no man is above the law.

“By contrast, those close to the King believe he has no desire whatsoever to see his brother subjected to a full-blown police inquiry.

“One former royal staffer put it bluntly: ‘The monarchy has shielded Andrew from any accountability for his actions for decades. That’s not about to change,’ the royal commentator concluded on Substack.

The claims come just a week after Andrew finally left Royal Lodge and was moved to a house on the King’s Sandringham Estate.

It is now widely believed he is staying in Wood Lodge for the foreseeable future until the renovations are completed at Marsh Farm.

Former royal editor Duncan Larcombe believes: “I think the King will pay what needs to be paid and will fund his brother, in a way, he’s kind of got no choice.

“Andrew can’t end up homeless and on the streets, much as the public might like that to happen.

“But what can Andrew do? He can’t get a job somewhere. He can’t deliver parcels to make ends meet.

“He’s sort of stuck so King Charles will still financially support him, but what that will look like, who knows,” he added.

He continued: “Andrew really is the pariah Prince and he’s a problem to his family.”

“He hasn’t been convicted in a court of law, but he has been found guilty in the court of public opinion, and I think with the latest tranche of emails, it definitely just stinks, it’s rotten, you know.”

US Vice President JD Vance has said he would be open to supporting cross-party efforts to call Andrew Mountbatten Windsor to testify

“I think unless and until Andrew goes and cooperates with the American authorities, I think that this will continue.”

US Vice President JD Vance has said he would be open to supporting cross-party efforts in Congress to call Andrew to give testimony regarding his association with the late sex offender.
