The Prince and Princess of Wales will not “begrudge” Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor after he was spotted riding horses on the Windsor estate, according to royal experts.

The disgraced former royal was spotted for the first time in seven weeks just days ago as he was snapped riding a horse around the Windsor estate.

The former Duke of York had his titles removed earlier this month due to his ongoing links to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

However, royal expert Jennie Bond has revealed: “While there is no love lost between William, Catherine and Andrew, my understanding is that they, and the rest of the royal family, believe they still have a duty of care for his welfare and mental health.

“Andrew is reported to have become isolated, depressed and solitary.

“It’s not his fault if photographers are ready to pounce if he dares to venture out, and I don’t think the Prince and Princess would begrudge him a ride around the park and some fresh air.

“Obviously it would be more convenient if it wasn’t on their doorstep, but they know that this is about to end and he will be living miles away in Sandringham.”

Ms Bond also believes that the King will be less than happy with the images being taken of Andrew, who is yet to leave his Royal Lodge home despite being served notice.

She continued: “I think the King will feel it’s unfortunate that pictures of Andrew are in the press again, drawing attention away from the work the rest of the family are doing.

“It would obviously be much better if Andrew were seen doing something for charity, or anything other than idly amusing himself. However, he is so toxic that no-one wants him anywhere near their organisation.”

A royal source echoed the claims by Bond, saying: “It’s really not a good look. The King won’t be happy that his brother has been photographed riding in the grounds of Windsor Castle, which after all is funded by the taxpayer.”

US legislators have called on Andrew to reveal what he knows after refusing a “transcribed interview” with him.

Democrats Rober Garcia and Suhas Subramanyam have accused Andrew of hiding, saying in a statement: “Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s silence in the face of the Oversight Democrats’ demand for testimony speaks volumes.

“The documents we’ve reviewed, along with public records and Virginia Roberts Giuffre’s testimony, raise serious questions he must answer, yet he continues to hide.

“Our work will move forward with or without him, and we will hold anyone who was involved in these crimes accountable, no matter their wealth, status, or political party. We will get justice for the survivors.”

Andrew continues to deny any wrongdoing, but agreed to stop using his titles before Buckingham Palace announced the former prince would have his titles removed and be forced to move from his Royal Lodge home.

GB News has approached Andrew’s representatives for comment.
