Princess Beatrice has been exploring Eton College as a potential secondary school for her 10-year-old stepson Wolfie, according to reports that she visited the prestigious institution earlier this month.

If the reports materialise, Wolfie could find himself studying at the renowned all-boys establishment alongside his mother’s cousin’s son, Prince George.

The future king, 12, is widely expected to follow his father, Prince William, to Eton when he completes his time at Lambrook preparatory school in Berkshire next summer.

Speculation about Prince George’s secondary education has intensified in recent months amid wider discussion about possible school options for the Prince and Princess of Wales’s children.

Beatrice, 37, lives in the Cotswolds with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Wolfie’s father, alongside their daughters Sienna, four, and Athena, one.

The location would prove convenient for Wolfie, according to the Mail, as his father’s home lies just over an hour’s drive from the famous school.

Wolfie, whose full name is Christopher Woolf Mapelli Mozzi, is the son of Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and American architect Dara Huang.

He has been educated in Britain since early childhood, after his parents separated and established a co-parenting arrangement between the UK and the United States.

Dara Huang, who was raised in Florida, has previously spoken publicly about gun violence in the United States.

Writing in December 2022, she said: “I’m glad my son doesn’t go to school in the USA.

“I can sleep at night knowing he won’t die at his desk tomorrow morning.”

Ms Huang has also spoken about co-parenting, saying she believes Wolfie benefits from “two sets of parents trying to help him on both sides.”

She added: “I just think, ‘The more, the merrier.’”

Princess Beatrice has previously referred to Wolfie as her “bonus son” and has spoken warmly in interviews about her role within a blended family, describing her experience of becoming a stepmother in positive terms.

Wolfie has already been present at several major Royal Family occasions, including Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022, where he was seen alongside members of the wider Royal Family.

He has also attended private family gatherings at Sandringham and spent time around the children of the Prince and Princess of Wales at family events.

William and Catherine were recently photographed visiting Oundle School in Northamptonshire, a £60,000-per-year institution, fuelling speculation about potential future schooling options for Prince George.

However, other schools are also believed to remain under consideration, including Marlborough College, where Catherine studied, as well as London-based Highgate School and University College School.
