Andrew Mountbatten Windsor will not be punished much more by King Charles because the disgraced royal would not be able to cope financially according to a royal commentator.

Tina Brown, a royal biographer who was also a friend of Princess Diana, believes the monarch will not do much more in an attempt to keep the 65-year-old quiet.

The King has already removed Andrew’s titles and served him notice on his estate, and Ms Brown believes this is all the punishment we will see for the former Duke of York.

She revealed: “Charles, I am told, is not looking to punish his pampered brother to the point, he says, that he can’t ‘cope.’

“If Charles were not to pay his brother’s bills and ensure a certain level of comfort, Andrew would have only his secrets to sell.”

She went on to say the King is, “more aware than anyone that Andrew has been served all his life by a cook, a butler, and a valet who used to accompany him on foreign trade trips, lugging a six-foot-long ironing board through the lobby of five-star hotels.”

Tina Brown said Andrew will be dreading the move because he will be left isolated in Norfolk with few local friends.

She claims Andrew’s Sarah Ferguson has already “evaporated,” now her “freebie digs” in Windsor is gone.

A Norfolk resident said: “I have no idea who he will socialise with.”

Ms Brown continued to say: “Calling Andrew entitled is beside the point. He was raised with no economic purpose and now he finds himself as a connector to whom no one wants to be connected.”

“Andrew’s banishment to an as-yet unnamed property in windswept Norfolk on the Sandringham estate seems to have evaporated Fergie’s much-vaunted loyalty to her ex-husband, now that her freebie digs in a wing of Royal Lodge, 25 minutes from London, will soon have the locks changed.”

In another blow to the disgraced former royal, he faces losing the majority of his £558,000 compensation package after surrendering his lease on Royal Lodge, due to the extensive work that needs to be carried out to repair the Grade II mansion.

Andrew was entitled to a sum from the Crown Estate when he vacated Royal Lodge, but the deteriorating condition of the household means the sum will be significantly reduced.

Financial arrangements reveal he will receive a one-time payment in the six-figure range for relocation costs, alongside an annual allowance funded personally by the King to avoid “overspending in his new life as a commoner.”

Another royal commentator has claimed we may see Andrew move to the Middle East to get away from public scrutiny.

Royal commentator Andrew Morton told Times Radio: “I would predict that, if we’re speaking about this time next year, Andrew will probably live somewhere abroad.”
