M&S has launched a new tipple that’s perfect for anyone looking to cut back on alcohol without sacrificing sophistication.

Cygnet Infinity, a premium non-alcoholic botanical spirit, hit M&S Foodhalls across the country this week, priced at £32.

The luxury drink was co-founded by classical singer Katherine Jenkins OBE and features an impressive blend of Manuka Honey, Lion’s Mane, Siberian Ginseng, and Schisandra.

Offering “more, not less”, it’s designed to stand alone as an alcohol-free option rather than trying to mimic traditional gin, making it ideal for non-drinkers and those enjoying “mindful indulgence”.

What makes this spirit truly special is the “extraordinary care” taken in botanical extraction.

The distillery uses two separate infusion methods to get the best from every ingredient.

Lion’s Mane goes through an extended two-hour infusion at carefully controlled temperatures to draw out its “complex earthy depth”.

Despite its status as an alcohol-free tipple, Cygnet Infinity offers ‘more, not less’

The remaining botanicals – including Siberian Ginseng, Schisandra Berry, Rosehip, Hibiscus, Chrysanthemum, and Capsicum – are added in stages, with each one introduced at “precisely the right moment”.

This careful timing creates the spirit’s distinctive deep pink colour and optimal flavour profile.

M&S explained that “these botanicals were chosen for the complexity and depth they bring to the liquid” from Schisandra’s “five-flavour profile” to Chrysanthemum’s “delicate floral notes”.

Partner and chairman at Cygnet Gin, Matteo Fantacchiotti, commented: “With Cygnet Infinity, our new non-alcoholic expression, we’re once again redefining what luxury spirits can be.

“We set out to create Cygnet as a true luxury icon, and Infinity is about creating a new standard in the non-alcoholic category.”

“What makes this milestone even more meaningful is that it was achieved by a small yet mighty team whose relentless standards and breakthrough thinking continue to push our craft forward.

“Infinity is proof that innovation isn’t about size, it’s about vision, courage, and an uncompromising pursuit of excellence.”

For the perfect serve, pour 60ml over ice with a splash of premium soda, add a grapefruit wedge and rosemary sprig – all for under 20 calories.

Those after an alcoholic beverage can snap up a Marks & Spencer’s sparkling wine that “makes a real impact”.

Christmas shoppers are turning their backs on pricey Champagne and reaching for Crémant instead, with M&S reporting an extraordinary surge in sales of the French sparkling wine.
