Many of the most popular brands in the world ranked in the top 10 best-selling cars for April, as well as some relative newcomers to the market.
The likes of Ford, Kia and Volkswagen have retained their spots in the top 10, while Chinese brands Jaecoo and Omoda continue to disrupt the market with new releases.
Almost 150,000 new cars were registered in April, representing an enormous 24 per cent jump in year-on-year sales, with electric vehicles capturing more than one-quarter of the market.
