Meghan Markle has posted a short teaser of her new Netflix series, which is set to hit screens tomorrow.

The Duchess of Sussex shared a series of small clips of her preparing for the festive period ahead of the next instalment of With Love, Meghan.

The 44-year-old released footage of her cracking open a bottle of wine and preparing some gifts.

The duchess also showed off her calligraphy skills, which she is well-renowned for.

Meghan’s first season of her series reportedly had around 2.6 million views within a week of coming out worldwide, ranking 383rd among all of its titles.

The second season didn’t quite match the hype, not breaking into Netflix’s weekly Global Top 10 when it premiered.

Meghan shared the news of her Netflix special on her social media last month.

In her announcement post, she said: “Embrace traditions and make new ones this holiday season. With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration arrives on December 3 on @netflix.”

A photo accompanied the announcement, showing Meghan decorating her holiday table in a green dress.

In a statement released earlier this year, it gave insight into what we can expect in the Sussexes’ holiday celebrations, saying: “This December, join Meghan in Montecito for a magical holiday celebration.

“Together, friends and family deck the halls, create holiday feasts, craft heartfelt gifts, and share lots of laughs -with simple how-tos to follow at home.

“It’s a holiday wonder with warmth, tradition, and a generous dose of joy.”

Meghan shared a small snippet of a chalkboard reading: ‘Tis the season-ing’.

At Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit in Washington, D.C., Meghan revealed that the holiday special was a “really good one”.

She hinted that the special would include gift wrapping techniques, noting that she used to teach “advanced gift wrapping” at Paper Source between acting auditions.

“That’s not the full circle I was expecting, but here we are,” she said.

With Love, Meghan was the 44-year-old’s first solo hosting project for Netflix.

The duchess briefly showed off her calligraphy skills.

The first season of the show premiered in March, with the second season being filmed at the same time and released in August.

Prince Harry and Meghan had a deal with Netflix, reportedly worth $100million (£75.7million), before they extended their creative partnership with a multi-year first-look deal for film and television projects earlier this year.

The duchess went on to explain the deal at the Fortune event, saying: “My husband and I were in an overall deal with Netflix then, not dissimilar to Higher Ground and the Obamas’ deal, once that had come to its term, the extension of it – which was such an incredible sign of the strength of our partnership – was now being in a first-look deal.

“Which is also exciting because it gives us flexibility to go to our partners first, then at the same time, shop content that might not be the right fit for Netflix but has a home somewhere else.”
