A man who drugged his wife and allegedly allowed strangers to rape her had over one million photographs and videos of the alleged abuse, a court has heard.
The man, in his 60s, pleaded guilty in September to multiple sexual offences against his wife, including rape and administering a substance with intent.
Details of the photographs and videos emerged as Minshull Street Crown Court in Manchester tries nine men accused of sexual offences against the victim. The nine men deny all offences.
“There were over a million photographs and videos cataloguing not only his abuse of his wife but abuse on her committed by others, including those in the dock today,” Louise Oakley KC said.
