La Voix will make her comeback to Strictly Come Dancing as part of the 2026 live arena tour, reuniting with professional partner Aljaž Škorjanec.

The Buckinghamshire-based entertainer, who became the first drag artist to compete on the main programme, said she was delighted to return to “an even bigger dancefloor” when the tour visits venues across the UK from January.

“I loved being part of Strictly and was devastated when my time on the show was cut short because of injury,” La Voix said tonight on It Takes Two.

“But now I’m absolutely thrilled to have the chance to get back on an even bigger dancefloor with the sparkling 2026 Strictly Live Tour.

“I can’t wait to sashay my way around the country with my wonderful partner, Aljaž by my side.”

La Voix was forced to withdraw from the 2025 series of Strictly Come Dancing due to a significant foot injury sustained during rehearsals.

The RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star, whose real name is Chris Dennis, initially missed the Blackpool special due to the injury but hoped to return.

However, on November 22, 2025, it was announced on the live show that medical professionals had advised them to step back from the competition entirely to avoid a potential stress fracture.

Meanwhile, speculation about future presenting roles also surfaced online.

One viewer took to X to suggest: “I wouldn’t be shocked if they promote Janette or Fleur to hosting the main show and La Voix becomes a host on It Takes Two.”

When presenter Ms East appeared on tonight’s episode of It Takes Two, viewers immediately took to X to voice frustrations about her presenting approach.

The former X Factor contestant returned to host the Strictly spin-off at 9pm, reviewing the previous week’s performances and previewing Saturday’s show as the competition enters its tenth week.

However, within minutes of the broadcast beginning, complaints began flooding social media, with multiple viewers claiming East’s delivery was excessively loud.

“For crying out loud, please can someone stop Fleur from shouting all the time!” one annoyed viewer wrote.

Another asked: “Is it just me or does Fleur always shout when she presents It Takes Two? What is that all about? Can someone tell her to pipe down a bit please, my head hurts.”

Further complaints continued in the same vein: “Why is Fleur always screaming? Nice woman but a bad presenter,” one viewer said.

Another pleaded: “Production, please can you ask Fleur to stop shouting all the time!”

One particularly pointed remark criticised the unnecessary volume: “She is wearing a microphone. No need to scream and shout, it’s painful for the viewer.”

The barrage of complaints demonstrated that a significant portion of the audience found Mr East’s enthusiastic delivery style overwhelming, with some saying it caused genuine discomfort while watching the BBC Two programme.

However, the Sax singer also received strong support from fans who praised her energy and defended her against the backlash.

One viewer posted: “Can’t we have Fleur all week, please?!” Another compared her favourably to her co-presenter: “Fleur is an easier watch than Janette Manrara. Get rid of Janette and have Fleur as the presenter #ItTakesTwo.”

The divide extended further, with some suggesting Ms East could one day succeed Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman on the main Saturday night show.

The speculation aligns with wider conversations about potential presenting shake-ups within the Strictly franchise, with viewers suggesting both Ms East and Ms Manrara as possible future promotion candidates.
