Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling will exchange vows on Saturday, June 6th at All Saints Church in Kemble, Cirencester, but there will be some notable absences from the occasion.

The private ceremony will take place in the Cotswolds, a region holding deep significance for both the bride and groom.

A friend of the couple said: “Peter and Harriet’s wedding is an intimate occasion with their close friends and immediate family around them in the Cotswolds. It’s an area where they grew up and is very special to them both.”

The King and Queen, along with the Prince and Princess of Wales, have been notified of the wedding plans.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Prince Harry have not been invited to the royal wedding.

Both Peter Phillips, 48, and Ms Sperling, 45, are divorced, requiring them to obtain special permission from the vicar to marry in the church.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson will not be among the guests at the nuptials, with sources indicating their presence would overshadow the couple’s special day.

The insider told Hello: “When and whether Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and Sarah Ferguson had been invited, it was probably not deemed appropriate to invite them.

“It’s Peter and Harriet’s special day, and clearly their attendance would cause a distraction to the whole day.”

Their absence from the guest list comes after damaging revelations regarding their association with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Prince Harry has also been left off the invitation list, with the friend revealing: “Peter and Harry haven’t spoken for several years and have simply lost touch, so he hasn’t been invited.”

The estrangement marks a notable shift in the cousins’ relationship, given their previous attendance at one another’s family celebrations.

Peter Phillips was present when Harry married Meghan Markle, whilst Harry attended the wedding of Peter’s sister Zara to Mike Tindall.

GB News has approached Peter Phillips seeking comment on the matter.

Peter Phillips proposed to Ms Sperling during last summer, with the engagement announcement confirming both families were “delighted with the wonderful news.”

The complete guest list remains undisclosed, though family members expected to attend include Peter Phillips’s divorced parents, Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips, as well as his stepfather, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence.

Zara Tindall and her husband Mike are also anticipated to be present, along with the Edinburgh family.

Phillips has two daughters from his 13-year marriage to Autumn Phillips: Savannah, aged 14, and Isla, aged 13. He is also uncle to Zara and Mike’s three children, Mia, Lena and Lucas.

Ms Sperling, who works as an NHS paediatric nurse, has a teenage daughter named Georgia from a previous relationship.
