The King and Queen are set to join a landmark celebration at the Royal Albert Hall, marking half a century since The King’s Trust was established.

The special gala brings together the charity’s ambassadors, former beneficiaries, staff members and volunteers for an evening honouring five decades of youth support work.

Television presenters Ant and Dec will serve as hosts for the occasion, greeting the royal couple upon their arrival on the red carpet.

The event celebrates the countless achievements of young people who have benefited from the organisation’s programmes throughout its 50-year history.

Throughout the evening, the King and Queen will have the opportunity to meet this year’s award recipients alongside those presenting the honours.

The royal couple will also spend time with Trust ambassadors and performers taking part in the celebration.

As the evening draws to a close, The King and Queen will take to the stage for a memorable finale.

A group photograph featuring all award winners will capture the occasion, followed by a traditional ‘three cheers’ moment involving the entire audience.

The gathering represents a significant milestone for the organisation, uniting those who have contributed to its mission of supporting disadvantaged young people.

Originally established in 1976 by His Majesty when he was Prince of Wales, the charity was previously known as The Prince’s Trust.

The organisation’s core mission centres on ensuring every young person can succeed regardless of their circumstances or obstacles they encounter.

By helping those from disadvantaged backgrounds develop essential life skills and access employment opportunities, the Trust has supported more than one million young people across the United Kingdom.

Over the past five years, three quarters of participants have progressed into work, education or training.

To further commemorate this golden anniversary, a Garden Party will take place at Buckingham Palace on 14th May with His Majesty’s permission.
