King Charles and Queen Camilla look set for a deeply uncomfortable royal engagement today.

Printouts of images showing Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor from the recently released Epstein files were discovered strewn across streets in Dedham, Essex, on Wednesday.

The photographs, depicting the former duke crouching over an unidentified woman, were spotted on the high street where King Charles and Queen Camilla are scheduled to meet members of the public today.

According to the East Anglian Daily Times, footage of the scattered pictures was shared on social media ahead of the royal couple’s planned visit to a local inn in the village.

The images form part of the most recent batch of documents released by the US Department of Justice concerning the late paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Andrew relocated from Royal Lodge, his Windsor residence, to the King’s Sandringham Estate on Monday evening.

On Tuesday, Thames Valley Police confirmed they are assessing allegations that Epstein arranged for a woman to be sent to Britain for a sexual encounter with the King’s younger brother.

The photographs are undated, and their location remains unknown.

The former duke has consistently and strongly denied any wrongdoing in connection with the allegations that have emerged from the documents.

It comes as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s final days at Royal Lodge have been blasted as “appalling optics” as King Charles’s disgraced brother attempted to continue his daily routines despite mounting pressure from his links to Jeffrey Epstein.

The former Duke of York was pictured horse riding in Windsor on Monday and did not avoid photographs during the outing.

That evening, Andrew departed Royal Lodge in the night and was moved to a residence at King Charles’s Sandringham estate.

A royal insider told the Mail, regarding Andrew: “Even to the end, he just didn’t get it.”

His refusal to lie low during his last few weeks was described as “block-headed”.

A source added regarding Andrew being pictured waving at passersby: “You just want to whack your head on the desk.”

Another insider said regarding Andrew: “He was encouraged to think that it would be a good time to move on.”

The move has been planned since October 2025, although it was not expected to happen quite this soon.

These developments follow a fresh tranche of documents, emails, and photographs from the US Department of Justice being made public last Friday.

Andrew has always denied the allegations against him and appearing in the Epstein files is not evidence of any wrongdoing, and inclusion in the documents does not implicate anyone in Epstein’s criminality.
