Watch the horrific moment an asylum seeker knocks a woman unconscious after she rejected him on a night out.

Abdoela Berhan, a 35-year-old Eritrean national, punched Cleo Lake, 20, after she told him to “f**k off” when he refused to leave her alone.

The young woman was out with her friends at a Dorset nightclub, Cameo, and was outside the club when the migrant approached the group.

There, he attempted to put his arm around of the women.

Although he did not attend court, the on-the-run criminal was found guilty of assault.

When he was arrested, he said his address was the asylum hotel, the Britannia Hotel in Bournemouth, which is funded by the taxpayer.

He claimed he was acting in “self-defence”.

The footage of the vile attack, released by the Crown Prosecution Service, captured the moment the migrant attempted to kick the young woman.

When she look to fought back, the man, who lives at the Britannia Hotel, slammed his fist into his victim’s face, leaving her lying motionless on the floor.

Ms Lake believes she was out of it for around five minutes before regaining consciousness.

However, before she woke, her attacker could be seen fleeing the scene.

Recounting the horror attack, Ms Lake told Poole Magistrates’ Court: “He tried to sit down with us, I got uncomfortable because none of us knew who he was, it was dark and there was no one else around.

“I told him to f**k off and he didn’t like it. We were arguing, swearing at each other, and he got rather close so I shoved him back.

“He turned around and kicked me, but missed, then I kicked him.”

An ambulance ferried Ms Lake to a hospital. However, after waiting to be seen for several hours, she went home and later saw her GP.

But her injuries extend beyond the physical. Ms Lake told the court she avoided going out in the aftermath of the assault.

“I got quite a bit of bad anxiety around men. I just felt really uncomfortable around them,” she said.

“Even now, a year and a half later, I won’t go out clubbing unless there’s a lot of us or someone’s boyfriend is there, for protection. Because I have the thought that something bad will kick off.”

She admitted the footage was “hard to watch” while in court.

There are currently two warrants out for Berhan’s arrest. One is for another rampage which took place in a Subway fast food chain.

The other is for causing criminal damage to a police cell.
