Glastonbury confirms ticket sale dates – and highest ever price | UK News

After taking a fallow year in 2026, the Glastonbury Festival has confirmed that tickets for next year’s event will go on sale in October.

Tickets for the weekend will cost £408 including a £5 booking fee per ticket – an increase of £29.50 from 2025.

Headliners for the festival, which takes place from 23 to 27 June, have yet to be announced, but rumours are already swirling, with everyone from Harry Styles and Fontaines DC to Taylor Swift and Stevie Wonder said to be in the mix.

Tickets for the festival typically sell out in less than an hour, with thousands of fans joining online queues to fight for their place.

In a post on the official Glastonbury Instagram page, external, organisers said tickets with coach travel would go on sale at 18:00 BST on Thursday, 1 October.

General admission tickets go on sale a couple of days later, at 09:00 BST on Sunday 4 October.

As part of an ongoing campaign to stop touts, anyone wanting to attend Glastonbury had to be registered in advance. You can check your registration on its website. , external

In recent years, the festival has also introduced an automatic queuing system on the day of sale, with fans needing to be online before the start of the sale with a valid registration number.
