Petrol and diesel drivers are still paying high prices for fuel at the pumps across the UK, despite prices slowing in the last couple of days as tensions ease in the Middle East.

Motorists are currently paying 158p per litre for unleaded and 191p for diesel, although costs have eased in recent days as the United States and Iran progress peace talks.

Experts have urged drivers to consistently check where they can get their cheapest fuel, in a move that could save them a lot of money every time they fill up.
