UK Midlands businesses supported by coach Anu Khanna have made a significant mark at the BizX Awards 2026, with two client companies winning their categories and a further 11 reaching the finals on the strength of their performance and growth.

The two category winners were ACT, led by John Courtenay, which claimed the Best Import-Export Company of the Year title, and The Buddy Bag Foundation, led by Karen Williams, which was presented with the Not-for-profit Business of the Year award. Anu Khanna has worked with both organisations as their coach over the course of several years.

Recognition on the evening was not limited to client businesses alone. Principal Coach Anu Khanna and fellow coach Harneet Kaur also received awards, making visible the direct connection that exists between the coaching these businesses receive and the level of results they achieve.

Anu Khanna received Best Client Results 2026, Executive Partner of the Year 2026, and the ActionHERO Award, collectively recognising her sustained contribution to growth and performance across the businesses in her coaching portfolio. Harneet Kaur was awarded Growth Partner of the Year 2026, reinforcing the evidence that structured and purposeful coaching is a reliable driver of improved business outcomes.

As an awards programme, BizX exists to shine a light on the best in business growth, leadership and operational performance, gathering leading entrepreneurs and professionals from across the UK. What this year’s results demonstrate is not simply that individual businesses performed well, but that the structured coaching model behind their success makes that level of performance something that can be achieved repeatedly and reliably.

Through a coaching relationship sustained over time, business owners are challenged to trade instinct for clarity and to build ways of working that allow for consistent, focused execution. Clear priorities replace competing demands, and the ability to follow through becomes a habit rather than an exception. The shift from reactive management to intentional leadership is one of the most consequential changes coaching brings about.

The coaching that Anu Khanna delivers introduces accountability at every level of a business, sharpens how decisions are made, and removes the gap that so often exists between planning and doing. Businesses stop just talking about what needs to change and start actually changing it.

For the businesses she coaches, these changes have expressed themselves in stronger and more consistent sales performance, teams that understand and take ownership of their roles, and systems clear enough to allow the business to function well without the owner being involved in everything. The businesses become more independent, more consistent and more capable of sustaining their own growth.

None of this is accidental. It is the natural result of what happens across Anu’s client base when structured coaching is taken seriously, applied with rigour, and maintained with commitment over the long term.
