Costa Coffee has unveiled its summer menu featuring the return of its popular Spanish Latte alongside new food and drink options.

The new menu includes an improved ready-to-drink latte recipe and introduces Barista Bites, a range of bite-sized snacks designed for customers on the move.

The summer offerings also feature a new Tiramisu Cookie Sandwich to complement the existing Tiramisu Iced Whipped Latte.

All new menu items are now available in Costa Coffee stores across the UK.

The “much-loved” Spanish Latte features a sweet, condensed milk-flavoured sauce that adds innovation to the traditional coffee.

For those seeking refreshment in warmer weather, the Iced Spanish Latte offers the same “dreamy” flavour profile served over ice for the “perfect summer refreshment”.

Costa Coffee has also reformulated its ready-to-drink latte range with what the company calls a “new and improved silkier recipe”.

These portable options come in Classic and Caramel and are “designed to help you be at your best, wherever summer takes you”.

The new Barista Bites range has been “thoughtfully crafted for life on the go, summer strolls, or laid-back afternoons in the park”, the coffee chain added.

The Cheese Bites consist of golden, crumb-coated melted cheese served with tangy tomato chutney.

Meanwhile, the High Protein Chicken Bites feature crispy breaded chicken with a smoky chipotle BBQ dip, offering both flavour and a protein boost.

For dessert enthusiasts, the new Tiramisu Cookie Sandwich pairs perfectly with Costa’s Tiramisu Iced Whipped Latte.

The treat comprises a rich dark chocolate cookie sandwich filled with tiramisu-inspired coffee frosting, topped with icing and cocoa powder.

Costa Coffee positions these additions as suitable for various summer occasions, from quick snacks during busy days to relaxed park visits.

Alongside regular coffee shop locations, Costa Coffee can be enjoyed in several UK airports, including London Heathrow, Manchester, Aberdeen, and Birmingham.

And for coffee enthusiasts who want to keep sipping in the sky, “the journey continues once you’re in the air”.

Costa’s hot beverage range is available onboard easyJet and Jet2.com flights, “bringing familiar comfort and quality coffee to your travels”.

Global food and beverage innovation director Nishant Bhatia commented on the coffee chain’s new summer menu.

She said: “At Costa Coffee, we believe summer should taste as good as it feels, and this year, we’ve taken inspiration from around the world to bring those holiday flavours a little closer to home.

“From the smooth sweetness of the Spanish Latte to the Tiramisu Cookie Sandwich inspired by the classic Italian dessert, it’s all about helping our customers taste a little bit of summer, one sip or bite at a time.

“And for those in the mood to snack, our Barista Bites are a fun new food format for Costa Coffee – perfect for enjoying in-store or grabbing on the go as you make the most of those sunny days.”
