Cruz Beckham has offered an olive branch to his estranged brother amid an ongoing family rift, after sharing a photograph featuring Brooklyn Beckham on Instagram.

The 20-year-old singer, who is the youngest son of Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham, reposted the image to his Instagram Story.

The photo, originally posted in 2021, shows Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 23, and their father, with Cruz adding the caption: “Love you guys,” alongside a heart emoji.

The post has drawn attention due to the ongoing feud that has reportedly caused a breakdown in communication between Brooklyn and his siblings.

It also marks the first time Cruz has publicly referenced his eldest brother since tensions allegedly began in 2022.

Despite the apparent gesture, Brooklyn and Cruz still do not follow each other on Instagram.

In July, friends of Brooklyn told The Daily Mail both Cruz and Romeo had blocked Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, on social media. Brooklyn does, however, continue to follow his parents.

The repost comes one week after Cruz shared a close-up photograph of himself appearing visibly upset, with the caption: “Life is too short to be silent, at least talk it out,” followed by a crying emoji.

He then shared a clip of a boy gifting his brother a guitar, labelling it “brotherly love.” Fans interpreted this as a direct reference to the ongoing tensions.

Cruz recently performed an intimate gig in Notting Hill with his band The Breakers, which his elder brother did not attend.

The singer has refrained from openly discussing the family situation, but his Instagram activity has fuelled speculation that he hopes to mend the rift.

Since the feud allegedly began around the time of Brooklyn’s April 2022 wedding, he has been absent from multiple key family occasions.

These include both Victoria and David Beckham’s milestone birthdays in 2025, annual family summer holidays, the premiere of David’s Netflix documentary in 2024, and the knighthood ceremony in November 2025, when David was honoured by King Charles.

Sources also claim that Brooklyn did not attend Romeo’s 22nd or 23rd birthdays in 2024 or 2025.

Notably, no Beckham family members were present when Brooklyn and Nicola renewed their vows in New York.

The last time Brooklyn and Nicola publicly posted positively about the Beckham family was in April 2024, when they shared tributes to Victoria on her 50th birthday.

Their absence from subsequent family celebrations has contributed to speculation about strained relationships.

Reports surrounding the feud point to wedding-related tensions as the initial source of conflict.

Nicola did not wear a Victoria Beckham-designed gown, saying the designer’s atelier was unable to produce it in time.

Sources close to the Beckhams, however, suggested Nicola had never fully intended to wear the design, leaving Victoria feeling excluded.

Other claims include the Beckham family feeling side-lined at the wedding, and separate allegations that Victoria overshadowed a key moment by having singer Marc Anthony dedicate a song to her during the reception, reportedly leaving Nicola emotional.

Further tension has reportedly stemmed from Brooklyn and Nicola’s close ties to the Peltz family, with some claims suggesting Nicola has heavily influenced Brooklyn’s distancing from his parents.

More recent reports in 2025 alleged Brooklyn was reluctant to attend family gatherings due to Romeo dating Kim Turnbull, whom Brooklyn briefly dated in his teens.

The Beckham family have not publicly addressed the feud. However, Cruz’s post, appearing to acknowledge his brother affectionately while reminding the public of their bond, has prompted speculation that he may be ready to bridge the divide.

It appears to be only a matter of time before a member of the Beckham family is forced to address the situation publicly, as each of their social media posts continues to be flooded with speculation and criticism.

On Wednesday, Brooklyn posted a cooking video on Instagram, sharing instructions for his take on a “steak sandwich”.

The comments section quickly became dominated by remarks referencing the ongoing family rift.

The top comment read: “Very good, but call your parents. No one can replace them, honey. Your wife can leave you tomorrow with no warning. Your parents are the only ones who love you even when you hurt them. Call or visit them.”

“You can’t replace your parents for anybody!!!” another person wrote, while a third criticised: “Really sorry, but making good food like that is no use to anyone if you don’t have love and family to share it with… that mistake will stay with you for life.”

One viewer, however, expressed sympathy towards the 26-year-old, writing: “I feel a bit sorry for him. I think he’s lost.”
