One child has died and another has been taken to hospital after a blaze at a house in a Kent village. Firefighters were called just after 12:00 GMT to an “intense fire” at the semi-detached property on White Admiral Way, in Hamstreet, near Ashford.Kent Fire & Rescue Service (KFRS) said six fire engines worked hard to put out the flames, which had spread throughout the home. “Sadly, one child died at the scene,” KFRS said.
