A fundraising campaign has been launched to repair a historic sailing boat which was destroyed by a fire. People have rallied to support shipmaster Spike Davies after a fire destroyed the historic sailing boat, Keewaydin, at Sailors Creek, near Falmouth in Cornwall. The blaze occurred on February 19, leaving the boat unsalvageable.To make matters worse, a group of volunteers, led by Mr Davies, had been restoring the boat for the past two years, with its relaunch only two weeks away.
