A 73-year-old woman has died in a traffic collision in County Down.Angela Feenan, who was from Downpatrick, was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident, on Ardglass Road in the County Down town.She had been driving a black Seat Arona, which was involved in a collision with a white Vauxhall Insignia at about 17:40 on Friday.The driver of the other vehicle, who is in his 40s, was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.Police have asked for any witnesses to contact them.

More than three million Britons will be dragged into Chancellor Rachel Reeves’s latest tax raid on pensions, according to the latest analysis of Government data.Following Ms Reeves’s Budget statement on November 26, ministers published an impact assessment detailing how Budget 2025 reforms will apply National Insurance to salary sacrifice pension payments above £2,000 annually, with the changes taking effect from 2029.The assessment shows approximately 7.7 million employees currently use salary sacrifice arrangements for their pensions.
