Aldi fans have something to celebrate as the budget supermarket’s beloved Aperini Superiore is back on shelves just in time for summer.

The award-winning aperitif costs just £6.79 for a 70cl bottle, which the retailer claims is 63 per cent cheaper than big brand competitors.

This gives shoppers a saving of over £11 compared to the branded version, which typically costs £17.50 for the same size.

With warmer weather and longer evenings finally arriving, it’s great news for anyone who loves a refreshing spritz without needing to splash the cash.

The popular Aperini returns for 2026

The popular tipple has returned to Aldi stores across the country, ready to transform back gardens into Italian-style terraces.

The Aperini Superiore has been highly praised, having scooped a Gold medal at the prestigious World Liqueur Awards.

The vibrant aperitif delivers that classic bittersweet combination of orange and rhubarb flavours that people can’t resist during the summer months.

For anyone dreaming of an Italian escape, this tipple promises to bring a taste of the Amalfi Coast straight to your garden.

Shoppers will also notice the product has had a huge upgrade for 2026, as Aldi launches a ready-to-drink Aperini Spritz Four Pack priced at just £5.99.

The convenient pack contains four 200ml cans, making it ideal for picnics, barbecues and outdoor gatherings.

The supermarket states the pre-mixed cocktail offers an iconic spritz taste for 40 per cent less than branded alternatives, so there’s no need to prepare your own.

Both the Aperini Superiore and the new Spritz Four Pack are available in Aldi stores nationwide right now. Whether you prefer crafting your own cocktails or grabbing something ready-made, the supermarket has summer drinking sorted at prices that won’t break the bank.

Beyond drinks, Aldi has plenty more to get families excited about the summer ahead. With May bank holidays and half-term approaching, the supermarket is bringing back its popular children’s outdoor toys from April 30.

Research shows that encouraging creativity and outdoor play can make kids 27 per cent more physically active, so parents will love these affordable options.

The range includes Sand and Water Tables at £19.99, available in pink and blue, plus Ball Pits for just £9.99. As with all Specialbuys, shoppers will need to be quick – once they’re gone, they’re gone.
