A man has been charged with the murder of GP Hannah Terry, who was found dead in her home on Sunday, Norfolk Police have confirmed.

Mark Cain, 45, has been charged after Dr Terry’s body was discovered in the Dersingham area near the King’s Sandringham estate this weekend.

Cain, of Fern Hill, Dersingham, has been remanded in custody to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on October 7.

Dr Terry was a mum-of-three also known as Dr Cain.

She was reportedly hosting a sleepover for children at her detached home in Norfolk when she died.

Emergency services were called to the property in Fern Hill in the early hours of Sunday morning.
