Heidi Klum brought the curtain down on Magnum’s first-ever Cannes fashion show, gliding along the catwalk in a striking strapless green gown crafted by Turkish designer Raissa Vanessa.

The German-American television presenter and supermodel, aged 52, carried the ice-cream brand’s Signature La Pistachio whilst modelling the pistachio-inspired creation on La Croisette.

Ms Klum has been appointed as the inaugural Magnum Muse, a role that saw her showcase one of 15 couture pieces at the House of Magnum launch event.

Speaking after her runway appearance, she said: “It’s been an absolute pleasure to launch the inaugural House of Magnum Collection here in Cannes – the energy on the runway was something truly special.”

The show featured 15 distinct looks, each drawing inspiration from the brand’s products

The gown featured rich green and gold tones reflecting the dessert’s distinctive colouring.

Law Roach, described as the world’s only Image Architect and newly appointed Taste Architect for Magnum, oversaw the creative direction of the collection.

The show featured 15 distinct looks, each drawing inspiration from the brand’s products and transforming signature flavours, textures and design elements into wearable haute couture.

British designer Ethan Leyland opened proceedings with a creation inspired by Magnum Classic and the brand’s iconic chocolate ‘crack’.

Mr Leyland said: “I’m overwhelmed. Only a few months ago I organically created a dress inspired by a brand I love and now I’m on stage with Heidi Klum and Law Roach having just watched my design open the first ever House of Magnum fashion show.”

Mr Roach himself wore an outfit inspired by the Classic, declaring: “Bold, unapologetic, timeless – you can’t beat the icon.”

Klum’s son Henry Samuel Klum also took to the runway during the event, wearing a creation by German designer Danny Reinke that drew inspiration from La Pêche, the brand’s peach flavour.

The supermodel described her experience closing the show in glowing terms.

“I got to do it wearing a stunning gown by Raissa Vanessa inspired by the Magnum Signature La Pistachio – with all those rich greens and golds,” she said.

“It feels indulgent, luxurious, and honestly a little bit delicious, which is exactly what Magnum is about.”

Mr Roach expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating: “Being here with Heidi to launch the House of Magnum Collection is a dream.”

He added: “Magnum is everything I believe in – confidence, luxury, pleasure and self-expression

The runway brought together an international roster of designers representing eight nations across the globe.

Göze Iscan, Global Vice President at The Magnum Ice Cream Company, outlined the diverse creative talent involved: “Designers include Ethan Leyland (UK), Maciej Zien (Poland), Jesus de la Garsa (Mexico), Martan (Netherlands), Alejandro Gomez Palomo (Spain), Victor Weinsanto (France), Danny Reinke (Germany), and Raissa Vanessa (Turkey), coming together on one runway.”

Ms Iscan added: “We didn’t just want to make a fashion moment, we wanted to create a space where local talent could stand on a world stage and be celebrated for the artistry they bring.”

The ice-cream company also used the occasion to launch its new Signature range, featuring pistachio and peach flavours.

The House of Magnum Beach at Palais Stéphanie remains open until May 22.
