Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor may be required to vacate his temporary accommodation at Wood Farm on the Sandringham estate sooner than anticipated, according to royal commentators.

The King’s younger brother relocated to the Norfolk farmhouse in February following his removal from Royal Lodge in Windsor, where he had resided for more than twenty years.

His stay at Wood Farm was always intended to be brief while builders completed work on the five-bedroom Marsh Farm nearby. However, experts now suggest he could be moved out within the coming fortnight.

The reason appears to be demand from other royals wishing to use Wood Farm during the Easter break.

Matt Wilkinson, royal editor of the Sun, highlighted significant preparations underway at Andrew’s permanent residence. Speaking to on A Right Royal Podcast, he noted that removal lorries had been spotted this week transporting furniture and appliances to the two-storey property, with some items bearing the HRH moniker.

“So Andrew’s got to get into Marsh Farm next door pretty sharpish,” Mr Wilkinson said.

He added that substantial security measures had been implemented at the site.

“They’ve put the gates up, these big security gates outside. They’ve been working around the clock for the last couple of weeks,” he explained.

The original timeline had Andrew settling into his new permanent home by Easter, which falls on the first weekend of April. Yet Mr Wilkinson indicated this schedule might be accelerated.

“We were told that we were to expect Andrew to be into his new final exile by Easter, which is the first weekend in April,” he said.

“But I have a sneaking suspicion he could be in even before that, because they want Wood Farm back. You know, the longer he’s there, the more comfy he gets.”

The property has traditionally served as a favoured retreat for extended members of the royal family seeking Easter getaways.

The former Duke of York’s departure from his Windsor residence came after fresh disclosures emerged regarding his connections to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Andrew was subsequently arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office relating to his Epstein links and has since been released while investigations continue.

Documents released as part of the Epstein files contained multiple references to Andrew, including photographs showing him bent over an unidentified woman and reclining across the laps of several females.

Since these developments, he has maintained an extremely low profile.

Andrew has consistently denied any wrongdoing in connection with his association with Epstein.
