Great Britain’s freestyle skier Kirsty Muir moved top of the slopestyle World Cup standings with one event left after claiming her second consecutive victory in the French Alps.

The 21-year-old scored 82.78 with her first run in the final, putting her ahead of Canada’s Elena Gaskell who was given 76.60.

Austria’s Lara Wolf was third with a score of 76.41.

Scot Muir will return to action at the alpine resort on Friday for the women’s big air finals, having qualified in first place.

It comes after she narrowly missed out on the podium in the big air and slopestyle events at the Winter Olympics in Italy last month.
