Salford’s past three wins have come against out-of-form Walsall as well as struggling Harrogate and Barrow.

Their end-of-season run-in sees them face fellow promotion chasers Cambridge, MK Dons and Notts County in their next three games and defender Ollie Turton said Salford must ensure they “turn up” for the remainder of their season.

“We have to be up for every single game. We’ve not had, I don’t think, one easy game this season,” Turton told Radio Manchester.

“I can tell you now that game was a real tough game for us. So we’re going to approach every game the same.

“If it’s a team towards the bottom, you’re obviously fighting for something and then there’s teams at the top fighting for something. So everyone’s got something to play for.

“We have to make sure we turn up and put good performances in.”
