Actor James Nesbitt stars in the Netflix series Run Away

The latest Harlan Coben thriller Run Away has climbed up the Netflix charts after gripping viewers with a plot packed with twists and turns.

The eight-part series follows the story of Simon Greene, played by James Nesbitt, as he searches for his missing daughter with the help of private investigator Elena Ravenscroft, played by Ruth Jones.

While the book was set in New York, the majority of the eight-part series was filmed across the north of England, predominantly in Greater Manchester.

Here are some behind the scenes images of the filming locations that have taken centre stage in the latest Netflix adaptation.

Alexandra Park, Oldham
