Two lucky Britons have won £1million from National Savings and Investments’ (NS&I) Premium Bonds prize draw with thousands of others winning smaller amounts of cash for December 2025.
According to figures published by NS&I, more than 6.1 million cash prizes worth over £403million have been won in December as savers look for non-traditional savings vehicles to bolster their finances.
Unlike traditional accounts, Premium Bonds do not accrue interest with NS&I customers instead being enrolled in a monthly prize to generate returns of up to £1million.
