A man’s body has been found at an infants school on Thursday morning.

Forensic teams are at Barwell Infant School, near Hinckley, Leicestershire, after they had reports of a body being found at around 7.30am this morning. The discovery was made in Townend Road.

Multiple officers are currently at the scene of the incident.

One person who lives on the street told Leicestershire Live: “It’s usually a quiet road, I mean you can hear the kids at break time but not much goes on.

“I opened by curtains at the usual time and saw police cars and an ambulance.”
