With the summer holidays just around the corner, it’s no wonder why young families are searching for quick, easy dinners to keep their little ones happy without it costing a fortune.

Morrisons has unveiled a new pizza range at its Market Street Pizza Counters across the UK, alongside by a meal deal offering two pizzas plus a side or dessert for £10.

The supermarket chain’s fresh offering includes 11-inch woodfired and stuffed crust pizzas, as well as 14-inch stonebaked varieties, with the deal providing savings of up to £5.50.

Meanwhile, More Card holders can secure an additional 10 per cent discount on Mondays as part of the retailer’s weekly Market Street counter promotion.

MORRISONS

The range launched today at Morrisons stores nationwide, marking a significant expansion of the supermarket’s fresh food counter offerings.

The new woodfired range, imported from Italy, features options such as the Margherita and Ham Hock, BBQ & Pineapple varieties, both priced at £6.

Meat enthusiasts can opt for the Loaded Carnivore Stuffed Crust or the Loaded BBQ Chicken & Bacon Stuffed Crust pizzas, also £6 each.

Vegetarian customers can select the Woodfired Butternut Squash, Portobello Mushroom & Roast Veg pizza for £6.

The 14-inch thin stone-baked range includes Pepperoni, Extra Cheesy Feast and Mighty Meaty options at £5 each.

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS

The retailer’s popular create-your-own pizza service remains available and is included in the meal deal, with Market Street Pizza experts preparing customised orders.

Customers can enhance their meal with sides including classic Dough Balls at £2, Cheesy Nachos for £2.50, or a 10-inch Thin Stone Baked Garlic and Cheese Bread at £2. The Garlic Cheese Bomb with Hot Honey, priced at £3.50, offers a flavour-packed starter option.

Those preferring something sweet can substitute their side for dessert options such as Loop Churros with Chocolate Sauce & Cinnamon Sugar at £3.50 or a Cookie Cup 2-pack for £2.50.

Additional extras are available for £1, including Nashville Hot, Cheesy Pizza or Garlic & Herb dips, each 100g for £1.50, or a 1.25-litre bottle of Coke.

Managing director of Market Street at Morrisons Fraser Lovatt said: “We know our Market Street Pizza Counters are a much-loved part of our stores across the country.

“To celebrate launching the new menu, we wanted to offer customers an irresistible offer so they can take home a delicious and authentic Italian-style pizza made by our Market Street experts, with sides or a dessert to enjoy from the comfort of home, all at a purse pleasing price.”

The supermarket is also implementing digital improvements to its Market Street counters, including interactive displays at the Pizza Counter,.

Such a change will now allow customers to place personalised pizza orders as they shop, with payment remaining at standard till points.
